Pulled out of Mothballs

I've been working on a story that I recently pulled from retirement. I started working on it years ago when I first began taking courses in the Writing Studies program. The story went through several incarnations for several classes, but I never seriously thought about publishing it--until now.

Why? I had an epiphany. Well, actually, a new idea popped into my mind recently and I think it will help the story greatly. The problem with it presently, is it wanders. I just couldn't pin it down and work with a singular theme. But I think I have discovered the piece(s) I need to make the story work now.

In the meantime, I've finally gotten the cobwebs out of my muse.

By the way, I'm still working on that deadline thing.
