I don't have much to report--yet. I'm still plugging away writing stories. Most of which are in various stages of development. Some are on paper, some are being formed in my mind, and some are already written, but need to be re-worked.
I just got another rejection, but I'm not letting it discourage me. I have accepted that such occurrences are par for the course. Its still a bitter pill to swallow, but it's getting easier to swallow. Not that I will get used to it because I won't, but it doesn't bother me as much. I know. I sound like a broken record (or whatever technological breakthrough represents it), but repeating it makes me feel better. It's almost like going to see a horror movie and repeating to yourself that "it's only a movie."
Anyway, I did hear from the editor of Lightning Flash Magazine. He indicated that he wants to publish my latest submission in a future issue, but the formatting of the story I submitted got screwed up and he wanted me to send another copy of the story; he suggested another format. So I sent him my story in the format I originally sent it in and in the format he suggested. You know, just in case one doesn't work, maybe the other will.
I haven't heard back from him, so I'm assuming he got them and they worked. Now I'll just keep an eye out for the next issue and see if my story is in it. If it is, I'll post the link to it.
